PWWB Plant-Based Meals Made Easy


To kick off 2021, PWWB is diving into plant-based recipes & all things veggie-filled! We are ready to start the year off with a truly fresh & flavorful start.

To date, some of our most popular recipes on PWWB are plant-based meals, like our Easy Roasted Veggie Tacos or our Sheet Pan Veggie Shawarma. The PWWB community LOVES a good plant-based dinner, so we are eager & ready to bring you even more vegan & vegetarian meals to enjoy!

The fun will officially start the week of January 10th, when we’ll begin sharing brand new recipes. In the meantime, we’ve got tons of resources to help you introduce more plant-based recipes into your arsenal of weeknight meals.

Plant-Based Meals Made Easy: A Guide for Cooking Flavorful Plant-Based Meals Everyone will love!

PWWB’s plant-based recipes are all about using REAL ingredients to create BIG flavors. We’re here to prove once & for all that veggies don’t have to be bland & boring & that with the right recipe, veggies can be the star of any weeknight table.

My journey in plant-based cooking:

Chris & I began to add plant-based meals into our weekly dinner rotation back in 2013, shortly after we moved in together. At the time, it was a pretty financially-driven decision: skipping meat 1-2 times a week helped us stretch our limited grocery budget a little bit further. (Every dollar was especially important to us back then – we were planning our wedding!)

As we explored a variety of vegetarian & vegan dishes, I quickly fell in love with plant-based cooking. Manipulating the flavors & textures of veggies & plant-based proteins to create hearty, satisfying meat-free meals was a really fun challenge for me, a food-obsessed home cook.

While we don’t follow a strictly vegan or vegetarian diet at our house, plant-based meals are still some of our favorites to this day – & they’re some of our most popular recipes on PWWB!

What to Expect on PWWB this Plant-based January:

Throughout the month of January we’ll be sharing 8+ new plant-based recipes here on PWWB. These recipes have been vigorously tested so that you can make them in your own kitchen (with ease!). They’ve even been taste-tested & approved by my meat-loving husband!

We’ll cover everything from soups & hearty grain bowls to a cozy veggie pot pie. Some recipes will be super simple to throw together while others may make for the perfect weekend cooking projects but all are guaranteed to be MEGA flavorful & enjoyed by all!

    Where are these guides? and why aren’t there links for the ultimate plant-based pantry post and plant-based snacks under “The Free Plant-Based Cooking Resources” headings.
    Are these a part upcoming email series?
    I just a little confused by this post.
