HONEY (OR PURE MAPLE SYRUP OR AGAVE)
GROUND CUMIN, SMOKED PAPRIKA, GROUND CINNAMON, GROUND GINGER, DRIED OREGANO, & GROUND TURMERIC
CAYENNE PEPPER (OPTIONAL)
First, gather & measure your ingredients. This marinade recipe comes together quickly!
Add all ingredients to a small bowl or jar & season with 1 1/2 teaspoons of kosher salt & ground black pepper. Whisk or shake to combine.
Pour the marinade over your meat over veggies of choice & marinate for at least 6 hours or up to 2 days. For more delicate proteins (seafood - shrimp or flaky white fish) aim for at least 2 hours.
Grill your protein or veggies as desired & serve them up! This marinade is great with chicken, lamb, beef or veggies & is perfect for hummus bowls!
